• There will be no school on Monday, September 1^st. We will be out for Labor Day. Please note that school will be in session that week on Friday, September 5^th. Please plan accordingly.

• We are now selling Blue & Gold Sausage ($9.75 for 2 ½ lb stick), Bacon ($18.75 for 3 lb pack), & Chicken ($25.75 for 5 lb bag). All moneys & orders are due on Tuesday, September 2^nd. See any student or stop by the office to order yours today. Top sellers will be rewarded.

• We will be having our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, September 18^th from 3:30 – 9:30 PM. Teachers will begin scheduling conferences soon. Please make plans to attend.

• We will continue to offer after school care each day school is in session from 3:30-6:00 PM for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a “pay for use” service. To utilize this service, you must sign up in advance. See the link for additional information. 

• We are very blessed to be in such a giving community. Each of the last eight years, we have been fortunate that individuals, businesses, and community organizations have made donations to help purchase our students the majority of their school supplies for the entire school year. This has been a huge blessing for our families and school and we are grateful for everyone who donates. You can find the lists of school supplies parents are responsible for purchasing for the 2025-2026 school year.

• In accordance with SB139, Jennings Public Schools is enacting a “Bell-to-Bell” Electronic Device policy that meets the requirements of the law. Electronic devices including cell phones will not be permitted from 7:55 AM – 3:25 PM. Classrooms in grades 4-8 will have a cell phone lock box mounted to the wall. Teachers and administrators will be the only ones with access to those boxes throughout the day. Students are expected to check their phone/device in immediately when they arrive to school. Devices will be returned to students at the end of the day.
